Plasterite is a family run business based in Kent and we have been producing fine quality fibrous plaster and external cast stone mouldings since 1976. Whether you are a private home owner, builder or architect looking for new mouldings from our brochure or looking to replicate mouldings after building alteration, we are here to help and advise. We also have a wealth of experience in heritage plaster restoration including hand crafted match-to-existing mouldings, lath and plaster repairs, as well as the application of internal and external lime plasters.
Plasterite was started in 1976 by Allen Paterson. We remain a family run business, with Allen's three sons now managing the day to day activities, all of whom have trained with the company. Together, the four family members share close to 100 years of experience in the fibrous plastering industry. We are complimented by a further wealth of knowledge from our employees, some of whom did their apprenticeship with the company and have stayed with us ever since. Over the years we have dealt with many interesting building restoration and property development projects and have built up a network of clients that still use the company today, some after having work carried out in the early days when the company first began!
