K-Rend through coloured renders are growing ever popular, and with good reason. These relatively new silicone based renders make for an excellent alternative to traditional sand and cement based renders. At RB Plastering our choice of through coloured render is K-Rend. It is extremely robust, breathable, waterproof, and can be used in many applications and is available in a wide range of pastel colours to suit just about any taste. There is also a very useful visualiser tool which can be used to get an idea of what a house would look like in each colour.
Cement rendering is the traditional use of sand and cement to create a smooth hard wearing surface, used predominantly on exterior walls. Great for going over old brickwork and adding strength to blockwork walls. K-rend through coloured render is relatively new cement and silicone product which comes in wide range of colours.
