Bath Plasterwork are expert designers, crafters and installers of decorative, ornamental architectural plaster mouldings. We're proud to be based in the historic city of Bath, where many of the iconic elegant Georgian buildings have benefited from our handiwork, but we undertake plasterwork commissions far and wide - even abroad in France. Undertaking restoration projects on period properties, reproducing and replacing the original mouldings as well as specialising in traditional lime plastering.
Corbels are delightfully decorative bracket supports that jut out from a wall, providing a support for a shelf or ledge above. These features were particularly popular in the Victorian period, although early forms can be seen in medieval cathedrals. Bath Plasterwork offers a large range of original designs to enrich plain cornice mouldings, all ready to be installed in your original period property or to recreate the ambience these classic and traditional features imbue into modern buildings. Fitting a ceiling rose is a quick and easy way to add charm and character to a room, complementing and showing off a light fitting.
