Block Paving
The selection of block paving paviors is extensive, offering various shapes, sizes, and an extensive range of colors and patterns. There is invariably a type to complement your requirements. Block paving serves dual purposes, functioning as either a flexible or rigid surface. The latter is predominantly employed in commercial applications.
Paving Slabs
Surface options are diverse, with paving slabs emerging as a perennial favorite. Whether opting for basic yet appealing DIY store concrete paving slabs or the natural elegance of stone paving slabs, there's a wide array of colors and textures to meet your preferences. These versatile paving slabs find common applications in pathways, steps, patios, and driveways. Moreover, they serve as reliable hard standing areas for structures like sheds, summerhouses, and hot tubs.
Fencing
Various fencing options are available, utilizing a wide range of materials. While fencing is often synonymous with timber, there are numerous forms it can take. Among the most recognizable are lap panels with timber posts. Another prevalent choice is close board fencing. While timber posts can be pressure treated for longevity, our preference leans towards the use of concrete for enhanced durability.
Concrete
Concrete drives are extremely robust and hardwearing, easy to clean and virtually maintenance free. Ideal for garage floors or garden footpaths through to numerous industrial uses such as forecourts or loading baysand speed ramps. We also use concrete in new drive construction as a base layer for our resin bound aggregate surfaces which is becoming very popular, although tarmac may also be used as a base for this product. Concrete products, generally pre-cast, are available also for most projects in the garden as well as more commercial or industrial projects.
Resin Bonded
Resin Bonding proves popular with driveways that have some form of incline as it offers grip and anti-slip qualities for vehicles and pedestrians alike. Once a glue has been applied to a base surface we can then scatter the chosen stone aggregate down to leave a textured surface. With the effect of scattered gravel resin bonded has minimal upkeep, as this is a non permeable surface and is ideal for surfaces utilising existing drainage systems. We employed James of Brantal Surfacing to carry out two separate pieces of work in our garden – a small patio area with path and a more complicated complete re-landscaping including disabled access in our front garden. Both areas look absolutely fantastic and are unrecognisable from their original condition. We are immensely pleased with the work. James is a very friendly, professional guy who pays great attention to detail. We would have no problem recommending the company to anyone and are only disappointed that we have no more work for them! 10 out of 10!
