A potted history: Established in 1999, Garden Design & Creation is the product of years of horticultural experience. As sole proprietor, Amanda Colberg is a professionally trained garden designer and previous Chelsea Flower Show exhibitor. Amanda combines a genuine passion for creative gardening with a belief that a beautiful garden will not only enhance the value of your property, but also your enjoyment of it. Amanda's philosophy is that the garden should be treated as another room, and that just as your lounge or bedroom bears the stamp of your personality, so should the area around your home.
On the next visit, I will take measurements of the garden area to enable me to produce an accurate drawing of the finished design. Using our shared ideas, I will then prepare a detailed pencil plan of the finished garden. The plan will be drawn to scale and include all the features and ideas discussed at our initial meeting. Incorporating any necessary amendments to the original Concept Drawing, this detailed inked drawing is the blueprint for your new garden, and the plan from which the building contractor will work.
