When it comes to landscaping, and whether local to us in Devon and Cornwall or further afield, your landscape project matters to us. Although a relatively recently formed company, we have all been involved in the industry for many years and have gained a great deal of experience in all aspects of hard and soft landscaping, fencing and sports pitch construction. We can take a project from early conception through the design and construction process to completion including any associated grounds maintenance - a one stop shop for all things landscaping and external works.
We work with qualified Landscape Architects who have a wealth of experience, expertise and flair, but who are, as is becoming increasingly important in these difficult economic times, anchored in the real world, producing designs which are not only attractive and complimentary to any project, but are cost effective and provide the maximum effect for any given budget. We can design with a wide range of species in mind and can create landscapes which are attractive but which also provide vital habitats and sources of food for many of our native species of animals and insects.
We have recently been involved in the construction of a 5MW solar park on our site here in Plympton, which amounts to some 22,000 ground mounted panels over an area of approximately 25 acres. This project, constructed by a specialist German solar company, brought a number of challenges both from a construction and also from a contracts management point of view, not least of which was the extremely tight installation deadline of the park having to be built, commissioned and feeding into the National Grid, from scratch to complete in 12 weeks!
Fencing comes in many materials, shapes and sizes, and we have erected most types from simple softwood treated timber fences to high security steel palisade and weldmesh ball stop fencing all with matching gates. Fencing need not be purely utilitarian; they can complement any building and be attractive in their own right as well as providing screening and privacy.
That is what our clients rightly expect and that is what we can achieve on any natural grass pitch, through the use of our state of the art laser guided plant and equipment which can produce an even finished surface to extremely accurate tolerances whilst automatically building in the required falls to aid surface drainage. This is the key to maximising the use of a pitch following inclement weather and keeping the costs of cancelled matches to a minimum. We would always advocate installing even a basic drainage system and to having the best system that the budget allows.
