Our kitchen design offices and showrooms are now situated at the beautiful Cotes Mill, an historic water mill dating back 1000 years.

Our Real Shaker Kitchen range of handmade painted kitchens offers authentic Shaker designs at a low price. This simple range of fitted or freestanding furniture will appeal to anyone who appreciates fine English cabinetry and understated style. Our painted wood kitchens conform to original Shaker Kitchen proportions, built with a modular system of standard sizes to keep the price of your Shaker Kitchen down, with additional custom elements available for when a more bespoke Shaker Kitchen is required.

The Classic English Kitchen range gives you a truly bespoke kitchen made at any size and with any finish. Inspired by period Georgian and farmhouse kitchens, Bespoke Kitchens by deVOL continue a tradition of English carpentry made to the highest quality and without compromise. The Classic English Kitchen is our bespoke kitchen range of traditional Georgian kitchen furniture, handmade in the same way for nearly 30 years and inspired by traditional country kitchen designs which have stood the test of time.

Old chairs come in all different shapes and sizes and it's such a pleasure to see them all jumbled up together throughout our showrooms. Each item is available to purchase from deVOL's headquarters at Cotes Mill, Leicestershire.

All of our ceramic tiles are handmade in our Cotes Mill ceramics studio by our talented team of designer-makers. Each tile is rolled, cut and glazed individually to create a very special collection which would make a lovely addition to a kitchen, bathroom or utility space.

Our bespoke kitchen ranges follow in the traditions of classic design periods, where function inspired beautiful things. The Real Shaker Kitchen, The Classic English Kitchen, The Sebastian Cox Kitchen and The Haberdasher's Kitchen all evoke these timeless design styles, handcrafted furniture made in a new era of modern English cabinetry.

Scientist Professor Alice Roberts, chef Tom Kerridge and journalist Sean Fletcher are the BBC's new 'Food Detectives', trying to help you improve your cooking, your health and your bank balance by dishing up the plain facts about food, and sharing some handy tips and recipe ideas too. The Food Detectives picked our beautiful Queens Park Kitchen to be the backdrop for all of their delicious cooking demonstrations and we couldn't be happier, what an honour to have one of favourite chefs cooking on primetime TV in one of our favourite kitchens.

We do not charge for this initial kitchen design service which includes a layout option and an estimate or full itemised quote. In order to take advantage of this design service we ask you to book an appointment either at Cotes Mill in Leicestershire or at one of our Clerkenwell showrooms in London. The growth of deVOL over the decades has bucked the trend in British Manufacturing, from humble beginnings has grown a renowned design led manufacturer of bespoke kitchens, interiors and bathrooms, all designed and built in Leicestershire, England. The name deVOL is an amalgamation of their initials. The two business partners renovated antique furniture and designed and made bespoke furniture for clients from their small rented workshop. After 10 years Philip set up a property business and Paul bought a Georgian shop on the High Street in Quorn to showcase deVOL's range of freestanding kitchen furniture.
