So you have decided that you want or need a new kitchen, but what do you do next? So much to consider! Don't worry, we are here to help and with many years of experience we have found that the following process normally works well for most customers. Looking at pictures and brochures is great to get ideas but nothing beats seeing the real thing. A trip to our showroom on Long Lane, Newport will give you a chance to see the various styles that we have to offer. With an extensive display of doors, worktops, appliances and accessories it will give you a chance to start to see what you do and don't like.
When choosing a new kitchen it's important to ensure that it not only looks stunning, but that it will stand the test of time. All too often companies try and cheapen the kitchen by using lessor quality components. By manufacturing the cabinets ourselves we can control and select each individual component. Our cabinets are built to last, we use 18mm British MFC (melamine faced chipboard) for all our cabinets. This includes the back panel - a lot of companies will use flimsy back panels. Cabinets are edged with PVC/ABS edging will water resistant adhesive.
At The Kitchen Workshop we offer a full kitchen installation service using our own employed installation team - unlike the majority of companies we don't use sub-contracted kitchen fitters. By having our own fitters, it allows us to ensure that the standards expected by the company are consistently maintained. By only fitting our kitchens it also allows our fitters to become the most experienced in our product - which we believe allows them to fit it to a higher standard. Our kitchen fitters each fit up to 48 kitchens a year, this level of experience means that there is unlikely to be a problem uncovered that they have not experienced before - so they will be able to get over it with minimal fuss and interruption.
