Well, glad that the longest January in history is over. Still a while to go until the lighter days so making the most of cosy evenings in (not like there's anywhere else to go )I have a small number of these beautiful standard floor lamp bases in stock, made from whisky staves from north-east.
I think this has to be one of our favourite fabrics. It's not new but definitely timeless. Mulberry's 'Flying Ducks'. Available in linen or velvet in various colour ways. Even the smallest amount on a scatter cushion is just enough to make a big impact x
The various stages of an upholstery commission. We can usually give an idea of price from images then fabric can be chosen (my favourite part). Then I forget to take a photo in the workshop so grab one in the back of the van! Return to our lovely and delighted customer and see them in pride of.
It's been a week of footstools this week. A gorgeous'Sarah Wallace Designs' commission, a little painted footstool with Mulberry Home fabric, a timeless'Stag' dressing table stool upholstered using Anta 'Owl' fabric and the huge footstool shown from yesterday's post. Which one would you choose? x
This was such a lovely job to do. Providing scatter cushions, custom made footstool and Roman blinds (to be fitted), to a beautiful Georgian country house. We used fabrics by GP&J Baker, Clarke & Clarke, Linwood and Abraham Moons. Finishing touches make all the difference x
