Shabby Chic is still going strong since its first appearance in the early 90's. This look has really stood the test of time and continues to maintain popularity. It's versatility can fit so many different designs, from modern to classic, urban to rural and basically can be adapted to fit almost any space. The Shabby chic style typically utilises muted pastels that give a vintage, passage of time feel. Pure white is rarely used. Also, using shades in a monochrome spectrum can help make the space look larger.
