The purpose of this page is to educate and inspire our readers on all thing's furniture related. Always think about how you would like to use the room before you begin designing. For example, if your kitchen is a large open plan room will you be entertaining a lot and therefore need plenty of seating. Or will you utilise the kitchen itself and need more worktop space for cooking and baking? Furniture can also add interest and a talking point to your room, depending on the style and size of piece you choose.

The service at Richard Grafton Interiors was exceptional and I would wholeheartedly recommend them. I dealt with a number of staff including Richard, Donna, Helen and Ben, all of whom were great to deal with. I was particularly impressed at how they were able to take our few and fairly sketchy ideas and produce a creative solution that was delivered on time and within budget. They demonstrate a brilliant combination of in-depth product knowledge, creative flair and real life nous. I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to do so in this case to recognise the wholly exceptional service from initial consultation through to post completion. Lockdown Activities Our designer Ben has been busy cycling the RGI Yorkshire Tour, stopping at our Harrogate, Wetherby & Ilkley showrooms to take a quick selfie. A ride spanning almost 52 miles! What have our followers been doing in their spare time during almost a year in and out of lockdown?.
Spring Colours These warmer mornings and blue skies are getting us ready for spring! We hope this holds out just in time for our reopening on 12th April if all goes to plan, fingers crossed for all non-essential retail. There are lots of projects in the pipeline for this year, we have a good.
Make an entrance A look back to this project which had a large open hallway with angular staircase where we installed a stair runner and oversized mirror along with a beautiful herringbone wood floor. The space could also accommodate a statement light feature and there's nothing better than a vase.
Bedroom Blues In this project our client already had the blue bedspread and was keen to utilise this in her daughters room so we used it as an anchor for the scheme. Our designer picked a bold blue for the walls and then incorporated green to break this up in a patterned headboard and decorative.
