Amy did an excellent job as the project manager for the rebuild and refurbishment of my very run-down utility room into a modern utility room/sun room. The job required a builder, roofer, plumber, electrician, tiler and kitchen fitter. All of the trades people had been used by Amy in previous projects and so she knew that they were reliable and would do a professional job. Amy was at the end of an email, text message and/or phone call and always responded promptly with a positive outcome. Importantly, the final invoice from each trade person (and Amy) was bang on the estimate.
Amy has planned and delivered the transformation of our much-loved Georgian farmhouse home from shabby-and-defi nitely-not-chic to something beautiful, stylish and still cosy. Marshalling a small army or roofers, decorators, joiners, electricians, plasterers and - memorably - an emergency kitchen fitter when a waste pipe sprang a leak, Amy has made the impossible possible, and just a bit magical. Working to a tight budget, she's taken everything in her stride and her eye for style and mood is unerring. We've never felt that design trends trumped our own preferences and she's always been a joy to spend time with. We heartily recommend her.
Amelia is currently working with us on decorating our house which is a new build. It's been great to have someone guide us and give advice and she's so easy to work with. I've gone with colours I didn't even realise that I liked and can't wait until the whole house is finished. Highly recommended.

Spring might not officially start until the 20th of March but already the days feel a little warmer and brighter and my garden is full of snowdrops, and crocus. So I thought I'd put a little spring in my shop window
Trying out my best present ever from Mr W while reading the magazine feature on our garden. If Carlsberg did Sunday… https://t.co/kozcazaEre
Well we only went and made the front cover
I've been doing a lot of remote design work recently. It's something I've avoided in the past as I prefer to see a space but we've all had to adjust to new ways of working, and actually I'm quite enjoying it. Basically the customer video calls me and walks me around the room/home so I can ask.
So who has been watching Interior Design Masters then? Me and Mike Fac watch it together remotely. For an hour our Whatsapp is a constant stream of "what are they thinking", "well that looks shit", "ooh clever idea" and "she's got to go". We would video call but Mr W would leave the room. This week.
