Scott Air Conditioning is a division of Scott Combustion operating nationally. We provide air conditioning & refrigeration services to commercial and industrial clients. Our expertise ranges from a small wall-mounted split air conditioning unit to large chillers serving fan coil for all rooms in a hotel or office building. Our refrigeration services range from a small blast freezer or ice machine to a walk-in refrigerator. On all air conditioning and refrigeration equipment we offer service contracts, fault-finding services and installation.
Servicing and maintenance is the mainstay of Scott Combustion's work; we carry out planned preventative maintenance on all commercial and industrial heating and air conditioning equipment, together with their associated controls. We offer service contracts of varying lengths to suit a particular client's requirements, and contracts come with a 24-hour emergency call-out facility and priority attendance. Regular maintenance of all heating and air conditioning appliances will not only improve the overall efficiency of the appliance, it will reduce the amount of failures/downtime of the appliance over its operational life.
Commercial installation works, whether they are a complete new boiler house or the replacement of a single boiler or air conditioning unit, are carried out to the required specification and always to the manufacturers' instructions. During over 37 years of operation we have carried out many thousands of installations from small boiler replacements to major chiller installations or complete boilerhouse refurbishments; all have had their particular challenges needing to be addressed and overcome. Over the last few years installation works have become more and more demanding, particularly in the areas of energy efficiency and eco-friendliness.
The larger type of gas, oil and dual-fuelled boilers and burners are specialised pieces of equipment, and this is the area in which Scott Combustion has specific skills. We have been carrying out works on this type of plant since the inception of the company. We have commissioned boilers ranging from 70kW up to 14,500kW firing with gas, oil or dual-fuelled burners. We have installed boilers and burners up to 15,000kW and we are capable of working on any type of application from a hot water low-pressure boiler to high-pressure steam boilers, from industrial incineration plants to commercial baking ovens.
Our Sales Engineers have been trained in the field allowing them to understand the systems our engineers are working on, which could be a heating system, an air conditioning system or any other HVAC plant system.
