Old tree stumps are unattractive, a hazard and can hold diseases such as honey fungus which in time can spread to other trees and plants. We have a specialist stump grinding machine which can grind out any size of stump, even in the most confined space to an approximate depth of 22″. We can then make good the area to your requirements. The shavings of the tree stumps can be used as mulch on your garden if required.

Here are some pictures of a recently planted native bare-root hedge. We used just under 1000 trees on this project in Thornbury. This will create a stock proof barrier and a great habitat for birds and small mammals.
This is some hedge trimming carried out this week for a private customer in Olveston. We have been maintaining this conifer hedge for the last 8 years. We removed a large oak tree in Yate to finish the week off. Unfortunately this had to come down as it was diseased and was close to the customer's house.
This was a nice planting job that we carried out for a customer in Thornbury. We used pleached Portuguese laurel to create an instant screen. We have also been busy felling diseased ash trees for Bradley Stoke town council.
