The idea came to be 15+ years ago when I worked elsewhere. I knew this was my thing. I had the logo developed, the idea was born and I started putting my master plan together. The company was formed officially in 2013 although I had been treating lawns for years before.

LawnRight lawn treatment service has been an idea in the making since as far back as 2006 when the owner Shaun Baird worked for a popular lawn care company. Fuelled by the transformations, and the ability to interact with customers on a personal basis, Shaun decided he wanted to use his knowledge and skills to bring his own unique blend of knowledge and superb customer support. Here at LawnRight, we are a small friendly team of people who have been treating lawns since 2006 with a proprietary Feed & Weed service and wanted to set up our own service that provided our own unique level of customer satisfaction.

Patios, decking, driveways, fences, walls, garden furniture, windows, roofs, rendering and so much more can all be treated. When moss and Algae are present on a hard surface they look unsightly and can be very slippery during the colder months. Our proprietary treatment will get to work and start to kill the moss within 2 to 4 days and then gently clean off the rest off the mould, algae and moss over the next few months. It is a machine which rakes out layers of dead thatch in the lawn (old grass that has built up like a thatched roof). Although it is quite invasive, and can leave lawns looking messy for a few weeks, the end results are more than worth it. If a lawn has not been scarified for quite some time then it will need a heavier scarification to remove the deeper thicker layers of thatch. Unfortunately you will often have some grass shoots removed, and may have a few small fairly bare areas. These can simply be overseeded and with proper care you will see new grass coming through in 1 to 2 weeks.

Did you know that turfing companies will often charge from 10, 15 or up to 20 per square metre to lay a new lawn. We can renovate your lawn quite literally for a fraction of the cost. We do need to look at every lawn to assess if any extra topsoil etc. is needed, but in most cases you can expect to pay way less than half or even as much as a third of the cost of turfing. In fact the cost is really quite affordable (and you can spread the cost of this over the 12 months running up to having it done), that a lot of people simply have their lawns renovated every year because it keeps the lawn in perfect top condition.
