As a professional garden designer I work in collaboration with my clients, contractors and suppliers in and around Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and North London. Creating beautiful bespoke gardens that you will grow with, play in and discover for many years to come.
This gives us the opportunity to meet and walk through your garden together to discuss initial design ideas and areas for development. Good garden design combines the practical use of your garden with engaging and beautiful design elements using both hard landscaping materials, structures and the right planting for each area of your garden. For small gardens Judi will carrying out the survey, which will include taking photographs and writing notes about the garden's aspects with measurements of the plot, including any level changes (topography).
Garden design, like developing your home, is a series of decisions and it's my job to help you bring together all of the decisions into a cohesive and beautiful garden design. My aim is to connect your outdoor space with your home, which gives you plenty of opportunity to use it, enjoy it and treasure it for years to come. I studied planting and garden design at Capel Manor Horticultural College, which set me on this garden design journey. Both living and working in North Hertfordshire is very fulfilling and I have worked with clients in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and North London.
Judi came for a consultation initially and listen to what I wanted. She very quickly understood me, then spent some time studying our courtyard and made suggestions that were spot on. We spent time sharing ideas on Pinterest and then she drew up a list of plants with pictures from which I chose my favourites.

It feels so good to have sunshine today. I'm looking forward to planting-up my client's garden path. full of sensory pleasure under-foot and attractive to pollinating insects.
