Although we are based in Basingstoke, we will travel further for our clients, within reason. We have been established since 2010, however, we have been working in the industry, installing and maintaining plumbing and heating systems since 1986.

With over 30 years experience, our engineers have seen, done and worked on every type of wet central heating system, whether it is a small installation or a bespoke system to run a few radiators on a canal boat, powered by a back boiler in a solid fuel stove in conjunction with the engine. There isn't much that we have not carried out or designed. All of our installations are Boiler Plus Compliant, to make sure you have the most efficient system possible. We will only fit boilers with a stainless steel heat exchanger, usually the boiler is an Alpha the main reason for this is that we have been installing these for years.

Power Flushing is the process by which heating systems are forcibly cleansed using a chemical at high velocity, but low pressure, so that no physical damage is caused to the system. The objective is to remove sludge and corrosion deposits from the system which cause damage to the boiler and pump, slowing down circulation which can lead to higher fuel costs. In our experience, power flushing can make a dramatic difference to the operating efficiency of most systems. Where a new boiler is to be fitted to an older system, cleansing is of utmost importance in order to remove layers of Magnetite and in hard water areas limescale.

The customer was told that the system either required power flushing or a new boiler due to the fact that they thought the main heat exchanger ws blocked with sludge. We was asked to attend and power flush the central heating system in a hope that we could clear the blockage. We carried out the power flush at half the cost quoted by the "other" company. However this didn't fix the problem. We said as much after viewing thermal imagery of the radiators whilst powerflushing which revealed, there was hardly any cold spots on the radiators, and comparing the Total Disolvable Solids meter readings, to the incoming water mains, that the system contained hardly any Sludge.
