Decking is still a very popular alternative to slabs or gras, or can be used alongside these, It gives interest to the garden, creating an outdoor indoor feel to the garden. Decking is an ideal solution for sloping gardens and makes a great place to have an outdoor eating area. There are a lot of different types of decking, and at All Green Landscapes, we will help you make the right choice for your garden and your lifestyle. We are landscapers in Sandy and surrounding areas and will give you great value and expertise for your money.
When choosing a fence we recommend you go for the maximum your budget allows, as a weak fence even if properly erected will struggle in high winds. A lap fence with concrete posts makes an excellent boundary fence in a windy area. Fencing can also be used as a wind break to protect more vulnerable plants. Fencing can also be decorative, as in picket fencing or trellis. It can be used to sub-divide a garden to add interest or to separate off portions, for example, a vegetable plot. Or to hide unsightly areas like the bins.
We have a highly trained team of experts specifically equipped to deal with commercial grounds maintenance. Plants, shrubs and trees shape a garden, and if carefully thought out can provide harmony, texture and colour all year round. All Green Landscapes Ltd are fully qualified members of the Institute of Horticulture and no matter what you are looking for, can offer advice to help ensure that your garden looks good not only initially, but for years to come. If you live in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas and are considering making improvements to your garden, please contact us and once we have established what the growing conditions are like, then together we can draw up a planting plan which will ensure that you obtain the maximum benefit from your budget.
All Green Landscapes Ltd are happy to quote for domestic work in Bedfordshire, South Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. All our hard landscaping is guaranteed for up to a year. Soft landscaping is at our discretion. That is to say if the plants or turf have been neglected we may not feel it our duty to replace it. Customer satisfaction is always our priority though, so hopefully we can come to a happy compromise. You will receive a formal written quotation and unless there are changes made by you this is what you will pay.
There is such a vast array of beautiful slabs on the market today, so paving should not be boring. We have come a long way from crazy paving and boring grey slabs. There are slabs to suit everyone's budget from concrete to natural stone. Preparation is crucial with paving. The ground must be prepared and dug down to the required level and primed with a good layer of hard core. Cutting corners in this area will result in subsidence and wobbly slabs. With the pointing done correctly it should remain weed free.
Whether you suffer from grass which always looks unattractive due to poor growing conditions or excessive use, or are simply looking to reduce the amount of maintenance that your garden requires, artificial grass could be the solution to your problems. Artificial grass can be laid on almost any sub base, even concrete, providing that it is flat and allows water to drain away. It requires very little maintenance - just occasionally sweeping with a nylon broom to keep the fibres straight, and to remove any small pieces of debris.
