These floor screed systems offer the perfect solution for renovating old or damaged industrial flooring especially as the pump screed hardens rapidly therefore decreasing the flooring renovation time. These floor screeds are laid from 2mm to 50mm thick. The polymer floor screed is pumped via a hose onto the floor and laid smooth with a squeegee. The floor screeds set within 3 hours and there are a range of strengths ranging from commercial floor screeds to go under carpet to a high strength industrial 'wearing-surface' screed floor that will take fork-lift truck traffic.
The method of shot blasting involves steel abrasive (shot) being propelled at high velocity onto a rotating wheel within the machine body, and then down onto the designated surface to produce the desired profile. Using singe headed grinders is great way to remove stubborn floor materials such as bitumen and glues. We use Blastrac equipment with great dust collection attachments to keep the environment as clean as possible. The process is dust free and environmentally friendly.
Decorative floors are a new and fast developing market trend. Concrete and asphalt are no longer considered as sole supports, they become part of the decoration itself. Depending on how deep the surface is polished, and how much of the aggregate is exposed, our grinding machines will allow a variety of finished surfaces to be produced from a concrete surface. The polished surface has all the advantages of a hard, durable concrete or asphalt floor combined with multiple aesthetic variations at an economical cost.
