Attention to detail is paramount, the initial setting out of your wooden floor and how it flows into adjacent rooms is key to a professional installation. In normal conditions you should allow one month drying time for every 25mm of new concrete sub floor. If you have existing floorboards, Chipboard or plywood, nailing provides a tried and tested method for wooden flooring installation. You can directly bond Engineered Flooring, Parquet Flooring and Solid Wood Flooring to Concrete Screed, Plywood and Chipboard sub floors.
At Architectural Joinery we have invested in the latest technology to manufacture Hardwood floors, Hardwood mouldings and planed timber. In 2005 we purchased a SCM Superset Class 6 head C.N.C. through feed moulder. Teamed with Oertli tooling from Switzerland we are able to produce the finest finish. To complete our in house timber profile matching service we purchased a Scm Visage Profile Grinder and a C.N.C. Template Maker. These facilities give us the opportunity to produce extremely accurate profiles time and time again and with fast set up times, short runs can be produced economically.
