Bishops Flooring supply and lay designer wood flooring individually produced for each client in partnership with Original Timber. The hand finished engineered flooring comes in a vast array of styles, shades and finishes. From pale New England colours to the traditional and distressed Oak flooring suitable for modern everyday living for a discerning household or office. Large sample boards can be viewed at our office (by appointment) or for your convenience we can visit your home where a free survey is undertaken.

Strip is a type of wood flooring characterised by its solid wood pieces laid out in parallel rows. Typically it consists of thin wood planks, usually between 6mm to 22mm thick with widths ranging from 57mm to 300mm. Choosing the right type of wood for your room makes all the difference to the overall look, finish and feel of the room. You can use a wide range of wood types for strip flooring but we believe that the best hardwood floors are made with wood from sustainable forests. Oak is predominantly the flooring of choice but we can also supply and install, maple, walnut, teak, ash, beach, merbau, and other exotic flooring options.

Ron had a natural interest and understanding in timber and was passionate about his work. This enthusiasm has been passed down from generation to generation, and Bishops Flooring is now owned and managed by the original founders son, Mark Bishop, and grandson Craig.
