Academy Wood Flooring

Academy install all types of hardwood flooring. There is a vast range of solid and engineered wood available to suits all budgets and homes and we are happy to advise you. We can supply and fit or you can purchase your own wood and we will provide a price for installation. Academy have a floor sanding division specialising in the restoration of existing hardwood floors including parquet blocks or mosaics. Our machinery is 95% dust free. All of the options can be discussed and examples provided to best suit our customers needs.

In addition to expert advice we offer our commercial clients free non obligatory estimates, floor installation, floor sanding and restoration. We are flexible in our approach and are happy to accommodate weekend and out of hours working to ensure disruption to the business is kept to a minimum.

We can supply and fit or you can purchase your own wood and we will provide a price for installation. We can also quote for supply only for unfinished and engineered oak as well as reclaimed oak. We specialise in parquet flooring which is available in many wood species and finishes. The most popular woods are Oak, Merbau, Maple and Walnut. Parquet flooring can be laid in a variety of designs - herring bone, basket weave and chevron to name a few. Some parquet is individual blocks whilst other comes on mesh backed panels.
