We are a Bathroom Design and Installation Company based just north of Cambridge, with a proven track record in completing luxury bathroom renovations. As bathroom specialists we work in and around Cambridge installing bathrooms, ensuites, wetrooms and cloakrooms. Our expert team of Bathroom Designers and Tradesman work closely together under the guidance of James and Cheryl, to ensure the planning and installation stages of your bathroom project run smoothly. We pride ourselves on our friendly and professional approach to our clients, with an emphasis on communication and customer service.

DeVal Bathrooms Ltd was started by James and Cheryl de Val in 2009. They are based at their Bathroom Showroom at Glenmore Business Park, Waterbeach, just north of Cambridge, after expanding and relocating from their Studio in Cottenham in 2015. James has lived and breathed bathrooms for nearly 17 years and prior to starting DeVal Bathrooms, worked for numerous local and national bathroom companies, both as a Contractor and Project Manager. As the Bathroom Installations Director, James splits his time between the showroom and being on site, to meet with you, to talk through any queries and job progress and overseeing the Installation Team, as well as completing work himself.

We are quite unique in that we can offer everything you need to complete your bathroom renovation project from under one roof. We believe the sky's the limit when it comes to bathroom renovations, and long gone are the days where a bathroom re-fit would only include a bath, pedestal basin and close-coupled toilet. You now have literally thousands of products to choose from (don't worry we'll guide you through that bit!) and many practical and innovative bathroom design ideas such as hiding shaver sockets in a cupboard, being able to turn your shower on with the push of a button and even motion sensor lights that won't turn your extractor fan on when you use the toilet in the middle of the night!

Here at DeVal Bathrooms we recognise that not only is an ensuite bathroom a necessity in most family homes, but having an ensuite can also increase the value of your home when you come to sell it. We can help you update your existing ensuite, or create a new one from scratch within a bedroom that doesn't currently have one. With most ensuite bathrooms being smaller than the main bathroom we will help make sure all the room space is used to its full potential and our wide range of compact bathroom products that don't project out as far as others can ensure you won't have to compromise when choosing your bathroom suite.

A downstairs cloakroom is a bonus, especially if you do not have an ensuite in the house, as they offer a convenience to anyone who lives in the house, as well as your guests. We can help you to modernise your existing cloakroom and provide advice to anyone thinking about building one into their existing home or within a new extension. Adding a cloakroom to your home may not seem possible, however the effort to create this additional, small but very practical space is more than justified. Here at DeVal Bathrooms we will offer resourcefulness in our detailed and considered planning and design, which ensures your new cloakroom is built in a space and to a size that meets your needs.

Whether you are updating an existing bathroom suite, or need to build a new bathroom from scratch, we offer solutions to create a finished bathroom that is both practical and stylish. Completing a bathroom renovation can be a daunting process and we understand that many clients won't have updated their bathroom for 10 years or more. Our philosophy is to give you all the information and options available, together with any pros and cons that go with them and that way you can make informed decisions about what would be best for you and your new bathroom.

Wetrooms are becoming more popular and year-on-year we are designing and installing more than ever before. We do recommend that if you are thinking of having a wet room you give it some careful consideration to ensure it is the right solution for your bathroom renovation. Wetrooms will need more diligent cleaning and maintenance than your standard shower room or bathroom, with careful attention paid to the silicone, grout and drain. There is a great deal of extra work that has to go into the room preparation, compared to your standard shower tray with enclosure, but the end result is most certainly worth it, giving you a room with that 'wow-factor' and extra showering space with the showering area blending seamlessly with the rest of the room.

As well as working with home owners in helping them create their dream bathrooms we also work with local architects, interior designers, builders and property developers. We offer a variety of services to help make sure your time and money can be used most efficiently; from Design and Supply Packages to Design and Installation Consultancy we can offer you a package to suit your individual requirements. Our Cambridge Bathroom Showroom is located just north of Cambridge past Waterbeach, directly off the A10 next to The Cambridge Research Park. Our whole team were involved in creating our Bathroom Showroom as we felt that this would be the best way to showcase exactly what it is we do. The internal showroom space was designed and built by the same people who will be completing your bathroom project and you can see first-hand the creative way we utilise space, as well as the quality of craftsmanship that goes into a bathroom renovation project.
