Timber fencing is mostly used for demarcation rather than security and is really cost-effective. All our timber fencing is pressure-treated (unless otherwise specified) increasing its longevity and it's all FSC certified too. Timber is a living product and will degrade over time. To maximise its life span we recommend the timber is treated every 2 - 3 years with a solvent based treatment in the Summer, so that it can soak into the dry wood.
