Alex Pickles has a degree in rural resource management, worked for the National Trust and trained as a gamekeeper which he pursued for 10 years, giving a good foundation for the countryside, rural communities and their needs. Since 2009 Alex has set up an equestrian yard with his wife, and become an accredited course builder with British Eventing.
