We are an NICEIC and ECA Approved Electrical Contractor based in Ford near Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Skilled in a variety of electrical installations our services range from Domestic household circuits, Smart Home installations, Chicken Shed and Dairy machinery and Industrial controls. Our engineers are trained to the highest standards and work to our strict code of conduct centred around the pride of the job.

Established in 2015 CES was founded by Joe Collison. We are based in Ford on the outskirts of Shrewsbury and are happy to serve within a 40 mile radius of the town allowing us to offer our services to the majority of the West Midlands and Mid Wales regions. We also offer a 24 hour call out service and maintenance contracts for both Commercial and Domestic customers for when those inevitable electrical blackouts occur out of hours. We are fully insured to install, maintain, test and certify electrical equipment from Domestic household circuits through to Commercial/Agricultural 3-phase installations.

Our team of commercial engineers specialise in catering to our office, light commercial, and industrial/warehouse clients. We can offer a full solution to our customers from design through to the installation and commissioning ensuring that all wants and needs are met. Whether it be full lighting installation and controls, office workspace additions, emergency lighting replacements or electrical condition reports, we aim to make CES a one-stop shop for all your commercial electrical requirements.

The Smart Home electrical services at CES are something that we're excited to include in the CES family and offer to our customers throughout Shropshire and the West Midlands and Mid Wales regions. Being a youthful team we're always looking to the future and researching technologies and products that we believe will have a big impact on both our and our customers lives. In our opinion the introduction of smart home systems fits that bill perfectly. The old phrase ‘I didn't know I needed it until I got one' often comes to mind when we talk to users of smart home technologies particularly in the case of our Loxone systems where a full bespoke installation can save you up to 50,000 tasks a year (far too much to list here!), this is one of many reasons we decided in 2017 to become a ‘Loxone Smart Home Silver Partner' and to complete their thorough training program to allow us to design, supply and install our very own Loxone smart homes.

With the worrying rate of thefts in the area a common preventative measure is to install a CCTV system to both capture those criminals in question and deter the temptations should it be known there are valuable equipment/materials in the property. The addition of an adequate CCTV system will also aid cheaper insurance premiums and is often a requirement to satisfy the insurance of more valuable assets. Dependant on budget we can provide small scale two-camera systems for Domestic premises' through to large scale sixteen camera+ full HD units with local monitoring and access to live images from away from the home and business on both smartphones, tablets or desktops.
