The Company of E W Edwardson (Electrical Contractors) Ltd was originally established in 1918 and has undergone many changes since then to be where we are today. We are fully committed to the ever changing aspects of the electrical industry and are totally committed to Inspecting & Testing, a requirement very much to the fore with the strict guidance of the 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671:2018. We encourage local youth employment, actively participating in the Scottish Electrical Charitable Training Trust (SECTT) Modern Apprenticeship Scheme, ensuring the future of both the Company and local youth employment is reached.

As the leading provider to Fife Council we realise that Portable Appliance Testing is vital to protect your business and its employees. We therefore aim to give the best service available to enable our customers to fulfil their obligations with regard to equipment safety. Electrical safety obligations are not limited to businesses, of course; landlords are also responsible for ensuring the regular testing of all appliances they provide for their tenants. All portable appliances with mains plug need testing.

Here at E. W. Edwardson Electrical Contractors our dedicated team of professionals will ensure that any work undertaken in domestic dwellings is carried out with an absolute minimum amount of disturbance to the property owner/resident to ensure a professional job is carried out in a clean and tidy manner at all times. All of our electricians are fully qualified and experienced in electrical installations in domestic dwellings. We can design and or install a variety of domestic services such as alarms (fire, intruder or security), home automation as well as additional lighting points and wall sockets.

We perform electrical installations of all types for the industrial sector within Fife and across the country. Our electricians are trained to work in a variety of industrial environments from schools and universities to health service buildings and factories. The health and safety of both our workforce and any clients that may be present on site is of the upmost importance to us and we always try to ensure our workforce operates a safety first initiative on every job. Industrially we try to accommodate our customers by carrying out work at a time that suits the client so as to minimise any downtime that may occur during the installation/alteration.
