Darke & Taylor's Building Services Design team have extensive experience of delivering design and build solutions to a wide portfolio of clients. We have developed a reputation for applying practical knowledge of how design impacts on installation and system life cost. By engaging us early in the design process of a project, our clients benefit from cost certainty and value engineering savings which are often not achieved through more traditional procurement routes. Using our established relationships with partner companies, we can also manage the design process for specialist supplier and subcontract packages.

Darke & Taylor Electrical Services is an in-house department employing a specialist team responsible for providing a client focussed electrical services, small works and local contracting projects within Oxfordshire. A focus on customer service and an ability to deliver, the department is agile and responsive whilst being able to benefit from being part of a large, well-resourced organisation. The team provide a total solution including design, costing, installation, commissioning, across the entire range of cabled building services systems.

We install all types of services into building premises and 2nd fix and commission the systems that operate over this infrastructure including: electrical power, lighting, fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, IT and WiFi networks, nurse call, induction loops, HVAC, plumbing and public health, solar PV arrays, heat pumps, EV car chargers, battery storage and intelligent/smart building systems. In addition we are accredited in the design, testing and maintenance of these systems meaning that we provide a turn-key approach to our clients, who include main contractors and project managers constructing and refurbishing buildings, and the landlords, owners and occupants of these buildings.

Darke & Taylor Fire and Security has many years' experience in the installation and maintenance of Life Safety and Security Systems as they form an integral part of the building services we engineer. Accredited by BAFE and the NSI Darke & Taylor has the knowledge and processes in place to operate as an industry specialist in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the critical systems that protect people and property. We operate in a wide range of markets, including domestic, high-end residential, listed buildings, commercial, industrial, and the public sector (including education and healthcare).
